The fascination of Argentine tango led the three international musicians in Vienna together:
A. Isabel Meyer – violinist from Germany, Martin Chovanec – the bandoneon player from Slovakia, Emil Tsang – pianist from Hong Kong generate a threesome the sound of a whole orchestra.
The Collegium Milonguerium (Ronen Nissan, musical director and guitar) is an ensemble made of classically trained musicians (Nicolas Di Marco-violin, Martin Chovanec-bandoneon, Angelica Martinez-bass, Alfredo Ovalles-piano) which share a passion for Argentinian tango.
Together with Angelica Rimoldi, tango diva from Buenos Aires, they present contemporary versions of classical tangos such as Gardel’s “Duelo Criollo” or Troilo’s “Sur” as well as waltzes (“El Beso”) and even Zambas such as “Alfonsina Y el Mar”.
